'Fafner Exodus' (蒼穹のファフナー EXODUS Sōkyū no Fafunā EXODUS) is a 2015 anime television series created by XEBEC. It is a sequel set 2 years after the events of Fafner: Heaven and Earth. A sequel, titled Fafner in the Azure: The Beyond.
Synopsis[]
2150 AD. The battle against the silicon-based Festums from outer space reaches a new phase. Fragments of the North Pole Mir were scattered throughout the world. Eventually, they began to act on their own as independent Mirs. Most hated humanity and attacked them, but some chose to coexist with mankind. Some with the same way of thinking existed within the human race, as well: those who were both human and Festum. They added to the chaos of the battle and brought about even more hatred.[1]

Nobuyoshi Habara, Hisashi Hirai, Naohiro Washio and Tsuneiyoshi Saito return as director, character designer, mechanical designer, and music composer respectively. Takashi Noto is however, the chief director. The returning storyboard staff are: Ken Ootsuka, Kumiko Habara, Naoki Hishikawa, Nobuyoshi Habara and Naohiro Washio.
